Yuletide: NNPC Restates Call Against Panic-buying Of PMS

As Christmas inches closer, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd has expressed its appreciation to Nigerians for always heeding its advisories, even as it restated the call for the public not to engage in panic-buying of premium motor spirit.

A statement by the NNPC group general manager, group public affairs division, Garba Muhammad, assured Nigerians that the company has sufficient product to last beyond the festive period. 

“Indeed, our stock has risen from a reserve of 1.7 billion litres to over 2billion litres within the last one month.

“Once again, we urge Nigerians not to engage in panic-buying but to fully enjoy the spirit of the festive season as we continue to work tirelessly to ensure a sufficient supply of petrol to every part of the country. 

“The NNPC extends sincere appreciations to all Nigerians for their understanding and support. 

“We wish you all happy celebrations,” the statement added.
