WomenLift Health Global Conference Harps On Better Representation For Women

The WomenLift Health Global Conference 2024 kicked off in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with a fervent call to action for greater representation of women in health leadership roles. 

Executive director of WomenLift Health, Ms. Amie Batson set the tone for the event with her opening remarks, underscoring the critical need to reimagine leadership in health and elevate the voices of women leaders.

Joined by esteemed guests, including His Excellency, the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango and the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. John Jingu, the conference commenced with a sense of urgency and purpose. The presence of the regional commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Hon. Albert Chalamila and Minister of Health of Tanzania, Hon. Ummy Mwalimu further underscored the significance of the event.
