The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) in the Presidency has honoured the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) with the prestigious Nigeria GovTech Award in the category of Best Federal MDA in Data Management and Analytics.
During the same event, the director-general/CEO of NiMet, Prof. Mansur Matazu received the Distinguished GovTech Trailblazer’s Award for the exemplary leadership he demonstrated in advancing GovTech initiatives and digital governance within NiMet, in line with the Federal Government’s digital transformation in the public sector.
This recognition highlights NiMet’s exceptional performance in data management and analytics, as well as the organization’s commitment to digital governance. The awards acknowledge the significant contributions of NiMet and its director-general in this vital area.
