The Minister of Power, Alhaji Saleh Mammam, has promised improved electricity supply to Nigerians across the country.
He made the promise when he spoke with newsmen during the Eld-el-Kabir celebration in Jalingo, saying communities that were underserved would enjoy adequate service soonest and those yet to be connected to the national grid would have alternative sources of power generation provided for them.
Urging Nigerians to embrace peace and calling on agitators to give peace a chance and contribute to the ‘one Nigeria’ project, Mamman said only peaceful co-existence would guarantee development in the country.
“We do not have another country of our own and we must join hands together to build the Nigeria of our dream,” he added. (NAN)
