Abdulsalami, Sultan Of Sokoto, Others For Book Launch On Security

Former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar, Ramesh Kasangra, billionaire and philanthropist, Arthur Eze and other prominent personalities are set to grace a book launch “Nucleus of Human Entrepreneurship and Economic Security”.

The launch which x-ray’s the ‘Chief Dr. Best man Paul Anekwe model’ and billed for December 2022, in Abuja will also pull distinguished dignitaries like the Oba of Lagos, Ooni of Ife, Obi of Onitsha, Ata of Igala, amongst others. 

Also expected are the leading aspirants for the 2023 presidential elections The top-running presidential aspirant at the forthcoming 2023 general elections People’s Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, All Progressive’s Congress Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

Others include former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, Frederick Obateru,the Etsu Nupe, Ona Of Obaji, Etsu Kwali, Alhaji Aminu Abdulkadir Wali Adamawa, GED NIPCO, HRH Ado Bayero, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi and all past heads of state.

The book will be reviewed by Prof Mercy Ada Anyiwe.

As part of preparations for the book launch, the BMA, Professional Consultancy Group Ltd. is set to inaugurate it’s special committee for the launching of the book on November 17, 2022, in Abuja.

Speaking on the upcoming launch, the committee chairman and chairman of the group, Alhaji Abubakar Khalifa, posited that there is no better time than now when the country is faced with a lot of security challenges.

Khalifa said the book covers the fields of strategic entrepreneurship and human development as the nucleus of the much needed security, peace and development of the human society.

“Chief Dr. Bestman Paul Anekwe, former president, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), chairman and founder of the Nigeria Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) Plc, as well as chairman/founder, Best Petroleum Nigeria Limited.

“As an accomplished and seasoned entrepreneur, Anekwe deserves essays on human and economic security to be dedicated to his giant strides in the development of the petroleum industry, the manufacturing and construction sectors of the economy,” he said.

In reviewing the book, Engr. Fola Jinadu and Dr. Augustine Akubo said the book explores the components of human and economic security as the panacea for peace and development of the society, by broadly adopting the broad security concept. This concept, they said, is increasingly viewed as an all-encompassing condition in which people and communities live in freedom, peace and safety, participate fully in the governance of their countries, enjoy the protection of fundamental rights, have access to resources and basic necessities of life and inhabit an environment which is not detrimental to their health and well-being.
