The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has extended the deadline for the submission of bids and initial bid deposits for the 3.5 Gigahertz (GHz) Spectrum band auction initially scheduled to close on November 24, 2021.
A statement by the commission’s director, public affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, said, however, due to the challenges with air travels as witnessed recently and considering that it may have some impact on intending bidders regarding the submission of their bids, the commission would extend the deadline for submission of bids and initial bid deposits (IBDs) to 5.00 pm, November 29, 2021.
The statement said all other events as scheduled in the information memorandum remained unchanged.
