The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Audu has extended warm felicitations to Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume on his 70th birthday.
In a statement delivered by his special assistant on media, Lizzy Okoji, Audu praised Akume’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to nation-building. The minister described Akume as “a true leader, leaving indelible marks in both the executive and legislative arms of the government.
“I congratulate the SGF, His Excellency, Sen. George Akume on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Your life has been one of dedicated service to humanity and the development of our nation, Nigeria. You are a statesman who consistently demonstrates leadership.
“Your capacity and skills have significantly contributed to the daily operations of the Nigerian government. Your continuous sacrifices for the country are commendable. On behalf of my family, the Ministry of Steel Development staff and management, I wish you a joyous 70th birthday celebration, Your Excellency,” Audu said.
The minister joined prominent figures, including the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu; the national chairman of the party, Sen. Abdullahi Ganduje; Governors of Benue, Ogun and Taraba states, as well as other cabinet ministers and members of the National Assembly, in celebrating SGF Akume at his country home in Tarka local government area of Benue State.
