The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo has said that sound policy development is critical to attracting sustainable investment into Nigeria’s aviation sector.
He remarked while receiving a delegation from the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), led by its managing director, Dr. Armstrong Takang during a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja.
Keyamo described MOFI as the “missing link” in his drive to reposition the sector and welcomed the opportunity for deeper collaboration. He also agreed to establish a joint working team to advance shared goals, reaffirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to a world-class aviation industry.
Takang, who was accompanied by representatives of their Qatari partner, Power International Holdings, said MOFI is keen to explore investment opportunities in the sector. He commended the Minister’s recent CTC and IDERA initiatives as timely and strategic.
The team outlined key areas of collaboration critical to achieving the president’s trillion-dollar economy vision and enhancing aviation infrastructure and service delivery.
