PMB Appoints Tutuwa As FIIRO Boss

President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) has approved the appointment of Dr. Jummai Tutuwa as the substantive director-general of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO) Lagos, with effect from May 10, 2022.

Tutuwa takes over from Dr. Agnes Asagbra, who managed the institute from February 2020.

A statement by the deputy director, press, Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (FMSTI), Atuora Obed, said before her appointment, Tutuwa was the director, biotechnology centre, National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Jalingo, Taraba.
