Mr. Oluseyi Odutayo, who was appointed as the new head of press and public affairs at the Federal Ministry of Aviation has assumed office. He took over from Ms. Eunice Akro, who has been redeployed back to the Ministry of Information and Culture.
Before his new post at the ministry, Oduyato was a seasoned public communication expert and served as the head of public communication at the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNI), as well as the head of press and public relations at the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs. Also, he has worked at various times with the Federal Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
In his inaugural meeting with the unit’s staff, Odutayo stated that he is a servant leader who is open and willing to work with everyone. He said he was convinced that the team would learn a lot from each other as they work together.
His extensive experience in public communication and public affairs is expected to be an asset to his new role as the head of press and public affairs at the ministry.
