The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality train services on the Warri-Itakpe line, emphasising integrity and reliability.
This statement was made by the coordinator of the Warri-Itakpe train service, Engineer Sanni Abdulganiyu following reports of ticketing issues involving some station staff.
Abdulganiyu acknowledged public frustrations and announced an internal review process to address misconduct, assuring passengers that those responsible will be held accountable.
“We are enhancing our monitoring and ticketing process to prevent overcharging and ensure fairness,” Abdulganiyu said, encouraging passengers to trust the NRC’s commitment to reliable service.
He noted that hotlines will be set up for easier complaint reporting and thanked passengers for their patience as the NRC works to rebuild trust.
