NNPC Disclaims Fake 50th Anniversary Quiz Contest

The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) yesterday disowned a quiz competition trending online which its organisers claimed to be one of the activities to commemorate the corporation’s 50th anniversary.

In the purported quiz contest, unsuspecting participants are encouraged to answer four questions based their knowledge of the corporation, with the eventual winner standing the chance of winning cash reward of up to N30,000.

A statement by the NNPC’s group general manager, group public affairs division, Garba Muhammad, said the corporation has nothing to do with the said contest and all those who partake would be doing so at their behest.
