NiMet Unveils Aeronautical Meteorological Bulletin

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN and the director-general of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Prof. Charles Anosike unveiled NiMet’s latest publication, the ‘Aeronautical Meteorological Bulletin,’ on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the minister’s office.  

The bulletin is a critical resource for flight planning and operations, enabling airlines, pilots, air traffic controllers and ground services to anticipate and manage weather-related challenges effectively.  

The bulletin includes: 

– Weather warnings and alerts  

– Aerodrome weather reports  

– Flight route forecasts  

– Aviation-specific meteorological conditions  

– Temperature and wind information  

– Impact of weather on operations
