The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has promoted 19 officers to managerial cadre based on the results of the 2022 promotion examination held on March 19 and 30, 2022, across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the general manager, public relations, NiMet, Muntari Yusuf Ibrahim.
The statement quoted the agency’s director, human resources and administration, Mrs. Rabi Daku, to have said: “19 officers were promoted to the managerial cadre while 511 officers were promoted to senior and middle-level management cadre.
“This followed the successful conduct and completion of the 2022 promotion examination held on the 19th and 30th of March, 2022, respectively, across the six geopolitical zones of the country and the subsequent approval by the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, via a letter FMA/NiMet/4551/T/170 regarding same.
“Letters and results have since been released to deserving staff.”
