The Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited has reassured the Gome State government of its unwavering confidence in its ability to deliver exceptional services to its customers in the state.
This assurance was given when a delegation from NIGCOMSAT, led by its managing director, Mrs. Nkechi Jane Egerton-Idehen, paid a courtesy visit to the Gombe State governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, at the state lodge in Abuja.
Egerton-Idehen, who showcased the company’s dedication to fulfilling its mandates as outlined by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation andDigital Economy, assured Yahaya that NIGCOMSAT Ltd remains steadfast in achieving its primary objective: to provide universal, ubiquitous and cost-effective access to communication infrastructure throughout Nigeria. She emphasised the company’s commitment to revolutionising information and communication technology (ICT) across diverse sectors such as agriculture, education, health and enterprises.
In response, the governor expressed his commitment to fostering a robust partnership with NIGCOMSAT Ltd, recognising the transformative power of technology in enhancing Gombe State’s socio-economic future. Acknowledging technology as a key driver of economic development, he affirmed that Gombe is now better positioned to harness the potential of reliable internet services provided by NIGCOMSAT Ltd.
The governor underscored the crucial role of technology as the engine room of economic growth. He assured that the collaboration with NIGCOMSAT Ltd would stimulate innovation and various advancements within the industry.
