The Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), the leading organisation representing private sector employers in Nigeria, has honored the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, with the “Award for Visible Impact in Public Service.”
The award, which recognises exceptional contributions to national development, was presented during NECA’s annual excellence ceremony held over the weekend.
This prestigious accolade celebrates Keyamo’s achievements in the aviation and aerospace sectors, particularly his efforts to implement transformative policies aimed at improving infrastructure, operational efficiency, and fostering international collaborations. Since assuming office, Keyamo has been lauded for his leadership in advancing Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem, bolstering transparency, and creating a conducive environment for industry stakeholders.
Accepting the award on his behalf, his special assistant, Janet Oputa expressed the minister’s gratitude. “The minister is deeply honoured by this recognition and remains committed to repositioning Nigeria’s aviation industry as a global benchmark,” she said. Oputa also dedicated the award to the hardworking teams at the Ministry of Aviation and all stakeholders who share in the vision of sustainable growth and innovation.
