Modification To Personal Data Only Possible On Portal – NIMC

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced that modifications to National Identification Number (NIN) data can only be done via its official self-service portal: [selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng] and (https://selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng).

NIMC warned against using unauthorised websites, as this may compromise personal information and lead to identity theft. 

“By using the official portal, users can securely update their details from anywhere at any time, ensuring data integrity and protection,” the commission said.

For a safe and seamless modification process, NIMC urged the public to rely solely on its designated platform.
