The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, has decided to temporarily halt the enforcement of levy collection by Messers NAEBI Dynamic Concept Ltd., with effect from May 30, 2024, in response to stakeholders’ calls for a review.

Following a meeting with executives of Airline Operators of Nigeria regarding helicopter landing levies at various aviation locations, Keyamo set up a committee comprised of members from the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, relevant agencies, Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), International Oil Companies (IOCs) and Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concept Ltd. The committee is tasked with addressing concerns raised by stakeholders and is expected to submit a report by the end of June 2024.

Stakeholders have questioned the propriety of the levies granted solely to Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concept Ltd by the Federal Government for collection. The committee’s recommendations will guide future actions.
