The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Audu has extended his warm greetings to Muslims across the nation as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitri and the successful conclusion of Ramadan.
Audu’s message, conveyed through a statement signed by his special assistant media, Lizzy Okoji in Abuja, encouraged everyone to uphold the spirit of Ramadan: prayer, piety and charity.
He urged all Nigerians to commit to living in peace, harmony and unity, avoiding actions that could tarnish the country’s image and hinder progress.
“I express gratitude to Almighty Allah for the completion of another Ramadan, a significant obligation in Islam, for which we will be rewarded. While Ramadan has passed, we must continue to embody its essence.
“As fellow compatriots, following the teachings of Prophet Mohammed, it is crucial for us to promote peace, love and unity, support one another and refrain from actions that harm our fellow citizens and our nation, Nigeria.
“Let us keep our prayers for our esteemed President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and his cabinet, who are dedicated to advancing the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda for the progress and development of Nigeria.
“On behalf of my family, the entire staff and management of the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I extend best wishes for a joyous Eid-el-Fitri to our Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians,” Audu expressed.
