The Federal Ministry of Transportation marked the 2024 Customer Service Week with a pledge to prioritise exceptional service delivery to Nigerians. The permanent secretary, Adeleye Adeoye, joined SERVICOM officials and ministry staff in commemorating the event under the theme, “Going Above and Beyond for Customers.”
In a brief ceremony held in his office, Adeoye was decorated with the SERVICOM insignia and presented with posters to encourage staff to uphold the highest standards of service. Later, he addressed a larger audience during a cake-cutting event in the ministry’s headquarters lobby, reiterating his commitment to excellent service delivery.
“Our duty is to serve the people of Nigeria with dedication,” Adeoye stated, urging ministry employees to embrace a service-oriented mindset. The celebration served as a reminder of the ministry’s pivotal role in supporting Nigeria’s transportation sector and its stakeholders.
