The director-general of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Prof. Charles Anosike has urged directors and senior management staff in the agency to work together to continue providing value to the agency’s stakeholders.
Anosike laid down the charge while addressing the agency’s quarterly senior staff meeting, which was attended by directors and general managers on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
During his speech, the director-general expressed his gratitude to the directors for their role in helping the new management settle in and thanked everyone for their support.
He emphasised the importance of recognising and overcoming structural challenges, stressing that success will depend on teamwork, collaboration, care and effective functioning.
Anosike concluded by urging the staff to make every day count in public service and expressed his appreciation for everyone’s contributions to the agency’s success story.
