The newly appointed permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Mr. Adeladan Olarinre (CIPSMN), assumed duty on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Abuja.

While addressing directors and heads of units, Adeladan urged them to focus on presenting initiatives that would improve the lives of Nigerians rather than seeking personal comfort. He stressed the importance of unity in delivering the ministry’s mandate and aligning efforts with the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Earlier, the director overseeing the office of the permanent secretary, Engr. Joseph Anagonye welcomed Adeladan and outlined key departments within the ministry, including spectrum management, information communication technology, telecoms, postal services and radio monitoring and surveys. He assured a smooth transition and immediate handover.
