The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) in Abuja recently paid a courtesy visit to the Senate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria.
The AAAU delegation, led by the permanent secretary of the Aviation Ministry, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole included its registrar, Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi; Director of academic planning, Professor Yahaya Zayyana Ibrahim and other key staff members.
The AAAU team was warmly received by the ABU representatives, which included vice-chancellor, Professor Kabir Bala; Registrar, Rabiu Samaila; Acting librarian, Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi Muhammad; Bursar, Mohammed Bello Aminu and other important staff. The visit featured a guided tour of the ABU Senate building.
During the tour, members of the AAAU team had the opportunity to meet with the ABU Governing Council, which was in session at the time. Chairman of the council, Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, CFR, welcomed the delegation and emphasised the importance of fostering collaboration between the two institutions.
