The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, in its pursuit of academic excellence and partnership for industrial experience, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.
The signing event took place at the NCAT office in Abuja, led by a delegation from AAAU headed by its Registrar Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi. This MoU opens up industrial experience opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of AAAU.
In his opening remarks, Abdullahi emphasised that AAAU is rapidly growing in both number and size and there is a need to establish collaborations with institutions like NCAT to provide Aviation Business students with essential industrial experience. He noted that AAAU is laying the groundwork early to solidify the partnership between AAAU and NCAT.
Director-general of NCAT, Joseph Imalighwe welcomed the AAAU team and highlighted that NCAT has numerous MoUs in place. He emphasised that it is their responsibility to ensure these partnerships are successful. Imalighwe encouraged the Registrar of AAAU to continue his efforts and assured him that this MoU will yield fruitful results for both institutions.
