
The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) in Abuja has officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ATOM Aviation Training Services, a renowned aviation training institution based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The public relations officer of AAAU, Sa’adatu Usman disclosed that the MoU signing ceremony took place on February 12, 2024, with key representatives from both institutions in attendance.
The ATOM delegation, led by its CEO, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Memari, included quality manager, Raed Al Batayneh and training manager, Ibrahim Al Hazaimeh. They welcomed the AAAU team, which was led by its registrar, Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, alongside its director of professional training programmes, Aliyu Tata Azare; Public relations officer, Sa’adatu Usman and Anas Aliyu.
During the meeting, both teams engaged in extensive discussions focused on mutual resource sharing** and areas of collaboration to strengthen aviation training programmes.
Following the MoU signing, the AAAU team was given an extensive tour of ATOM’s state-of-the-art facilities which showcased the institution’s cutting-edge training equipment and advanced infrastructure.
This partnership is expected to open up new training opportunities and professional development pathways for aviation personnel, significantly contributing to the growth and advancement of the global aviation industry.
